We now have a gameplay trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines! Hooray! Despite the horror show that was the last Alien based game (I shall not name it, for it was fucking terrible), I’m actually quite looking forward to this one. It looks quite good, and it’s high time we had another decent Aliens game. Take a glance, and dare to get a tiny bit excited.
And lo, the clouds parted and a voice was heard from the heavens, and it did decree thusly: “Max Payne 3 shall be forthcoming on the 1st of the month of June”, and there was much rejoicing among the peoples of the world. To celebrate this day, they all watched the trailer embedded above, to sate their appetites and slake their thirst. The voice also spake that those peoples of the North Americas will receive this gift on the 29th of May. Which is bullshit and meaningless as the Internet does not have timezones, but there you go.
The Unit Lost display team takes to the skies to showcase it’s magnificent aerial display abilities. These pilots are trained professionals, DO NOT attempt this at home. Enjoy the show.
Renegade-X is a reworking of the original, pure Command & Conquer: Renegade, Westwood’s ambitious FPS with RTS elements glued on. This is the single-player preview, “Operation Black Dawn”. This fan remake is based on UDK, so it looks pretty decent!
In that it is, by all accounts, well done. It’s a fan made rework of the original and terrible Command & Conquer: Renegade. You can only get a sneak preview at the moment, from this here linky, but from the trailer up there it does look very promising. Hell, the trailer looks better than the original ever did, so that’s already a good start.
It’s been way to long since I’ve played BF3, or any FPS for that matter. Let me explain some of the issues I’ve faced! The good news is, you’ll be seeing more of this kinda stuff on the channel :)
Everyone loves a bit of BF3 action! This is Damavand Peak Rush mode, defense. (I promise to make that sniper guide video)
If you’re absolutely gagging to get stuck in a tunnel while a small pinging noise alerts you to the fact that you’re about to have your face eaten by a bloodthirsty alien, then you will absolutely love the fact that Aliens is coming out in Autumn. You know what the best thing is, it looks good. Being the generous and delightful chap that I am, I’ve embedded a trailer up there for you to ogle. This game can’t come soon enough!
You know how older folk like to moan about games causing people to become more violent? Well they’ll fucking love this then, I picked some chap up and ripped him in half with my demonic extremities at one point, it was pure.
Inspired by the popular comic book series produced by Top Cow Productions, Inc., The Darkness II is an intense first person shooter that delivers a twisted and gripping narrative of tragedy, modern crime drama, and supernatural horror.
The Darkness 2 has a demo for the PC. It’s due to come out for the PC on the 10th of February, so it’s about bloody time. Thanks to the wonder of the Internets and YouTube, you can now see what the game will look like on the PC via that fancy trailer, up there. That’s not just any trailer either, it’s a launch trailer. Repeat after me: “Oooooooooh. Aaaaaaaah.” Anyway, that’s that, and the tech specs are below. Not that they matter since this is a console port and will, bar some ramping up of the AA, look like every other game brought out on those progress stopping machines, i.e., about 4 years old.
Oh yeah, does anyone else, when they see The Darkness written down, immediately think of this? Thought so.
Earlier this month Activision revealed that they planned on releasing 20 “drops” of DLC during 2012 for the Elite premium subscribers. The DLC will be created by the three different developers Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer & Raven. The first two multiplayer maps, Liberation and Piazza, were released today on the Xbox. The aforementioned features will first hit the Xbox and the PS3 & PC will follow at some yet-to-be-defined later date.
While the upcoming features currently are subscriber exclusive they will sporadically be bundled up and sold to the non-subscriber masses in a more traditional fashion.
