If you like to spurt sticky stuff whilst using a keyboard, I’m afraid you’re going to have to wait until August 10th to get you hands on The Amazing Spider-Man for PC (although your PC does allow for other spurt inducing media).
I have no idea why Eggsbox and PS3 users get this a whole month and a half earlier than PC users – releasing tomorrow, 29th June – but it’s damned annoying. But as HeroHQ announced, at least it is “coming” and with Steam Achievements no less. I’ve checked Steam and there are no details yet. Actually there’s nothing; no preorder or anything, so you’ll just have to keep your eyes peeled if you want to pick this up.

I remember playing one of the originals on PS and loved the freedom
I didn’t know they were making this, and now I do, I don’t have high hopes. All the spiderman games I’ve played are poor and show the most basic parts of spiderman: the fight scenes.
I prefer much more immersive and complicated games, so rather than just having spidy face up against venom you should be able to sneak around him and completely avoid him. Or, if you’re not into that, you could just beat his face. To me it’s all about choice and no spiderman game I’ve ever played has given me a choice. It’s so linear.. Ew.
Also, I can’t help thinking that this game is coming out only because the new movie is, which I also don’t have high hopes for. Spiderman is so cool in the comics but he’s so one dimensional and boring in the films. They better not ruin the lizard for me too, because in the 90s show he was amazing.
