Is Twitter the best place to announce/confirm that PC users will have dedicated servers in Black Ops 2? Apparently so, according to Treyarch’s Director of Technology (@pcdev).
Personally I think they would have been mad not to give dedicated servers, but then with the current propensity for AAA game devs to go “F*** you paying customers, we’ll do whatever the hell we like – you’ll still buy it anyway”, it’s nice to see we PC Gamers will actually get what we want for a change.
Of course whether this second installment is actually better than the first or its other siblings, rather just being some shiny new art and a couple of new weapons, remains to be seen.
