This E3 presentation is of the upcoming MMOFPS PlanetSide 2, published by Sony Online Entertainment. It includes details about the three factions and the classes that will be available upon release. Also covered are both the faction specific vehicles and common vehicles (which are available to all factions).
PlanetSide 2 is still currently in alpha, but once released, it will use a free to play model similar to League of Legends. So this will mean only skins will be bought from the cash shop. There will also be no pay to win items as they want to keep a level playing field.
This game is shaping up nicely; it seems to be very polished for an alpha version.
This is going on my ‘one to watch list’.
