Indie Royale June Bug Bundle

EddiesMinion June 14, 2012 Indie No Comments

Not to be outdone by the runaway success of Humble’s latest offering, Indie Royale have released their June Bug bundle. Here’s what we have:

PixelJunk Eden – a big hit on PSN, this has finally been ported to PC (with proper controls and everything).  It’s a lovely looking puzzle platformer where you jump, swing, climb and slide your way through each level. Got a nice (if you like that sort of thing) simple techno soundtrack too.

Escape Goat – a pixel-tastic puzzle platformer (oh the alliteration!). In this, you must navigate what are frankly lethal labyrinthine levels with the aid of a mouse…no, not the one on your computer, a real squeaky one. It’s got loads of levels and a load of PC exclusives too. Also, if you’re of the mind, there’s a level editor to create even more fiendish stages.

Noitu Love 2: Devolution – get those Diablo clicking fingers at the ready! You are Xoda Rap, and your city is under attack from robots under the control of Professor Darnacus Damnation…I think. Anyhow, you go a-click-smashing and exploding bad guys from loads of different eras across seven levels. There are three ways of playing the game and ratings for each stage, for you completionists out there.

Auditorium – the descriptions and video didn’t really help here, so I had to play the demo to actually see what this was about. Your aim in this multi award-winning puzzler is to direct the flow of lights to the goal, and you get rewarded with pretty music. Proper chilled out this one, I like it a lot. Reminds me of ReFlow on my iPad.

So there you have it – you’ve got another six days to get your hands on it for a ridiculously low price – there’s the added bonus of an 8 bit album if you spend $7, so what are you waiting for?
