Australian 18+ Bill Is Imminent

I say imminent, but we’re talking about politics here. It could be years away. Still, it’s a nice enough step to be able to say that the Bill is looking like it might pass, which means gamers in Upside-down Land may soon be able to enjoy the same games as the rest of the free world. Unfortunately, people being allowed to buy what they want and make their own decisions has been blocked for years in Aus, thanks to some fairly old fashioned arses sitting in important seats, but things are looking up, as Player Attack has explained:

Things currently look quietly positive for the Bill – and for Australian gamers – but as with all things in politics, things won’t move quickly. The R18+ legislation could still be a year or two off, according to experts.

Good luck, Australians!
