The masterminds behind an upcoming horror game are offering their game away for a mere $1, but here’s the catch: if they don’t hit 10 million pre-orders they’ll give away all our money to charity.
Now the 10 million bar seems ludicrous, but I think its quite possible. Now if you can’t spare the cost of a can of coke, for which you might possibly receive a full high quality PC game. Then be honest with yourself; what else are you going to achieve in life?

Taken from their website:
Who said that high quality PC games have to be expensive? Well, it sure wasn’t us! As a part of our ‘Afterfall: InSanity $1 pre-order’ campaign we want to make it possible for you to enjoy our game for a symbolic amount of $1, furthermore, we will use a share of the money to support one of the world’s largest international charity organisations. There is no catch, and the rules are pretty simple. The promotional price of $1 will apply to only games ordered prior to the game’s launch, and the promotion will be applicable only after we have received ten million orders. In case we don’t, your money will all go directly to the charity.
Nicolas Games the publisher of action-horror Afterfall: InSanity and Intoxicate Studios are delighted to announce that release date is set to 25th November 2011.

I’d like to buy a few of these codes to give out to people and whatnot, but I can’t help but feel like this whole thing is just a very clever.. I’m not gonna say scam, but it sort of is. I almost wonder if the only reason they’re giving it to charity is because they might run into some legal issues if they just take people’s money for a game and pocket it if they don’t get the 10 million preorders. Maybe not the only reason, but it might be a factor. Am I being too cynical?
O nice i take one copies $1 it’s nothing (ofc for me) and if they don’t reach the goal money go for amnesty international so okay.
@Cloud18
That’s true and if they reach goal you get game and soundtrack so i’m in too
Oh I never knew that, guess that’s an added bonus.
Looks good, but it’ll be very hard to reach 10 millions pre-orders.
